Furniture Design Lecture at Miami University

Principal Alessandro Preda has recently presented some of the studio’s contemporary furniture design to Prof. Patrizio Martinelli's Interiors Class at Miami University. The lecture, titled "The Value(s) of the Crab," provided an overview of Alessandro's design values, research, and process, including behind-the-scenes examples from the field. Specifically, the lecture disserted the process–from ideation to freehand sketching, to measured drawings, prototyping, and production– for our KG bench and MiMi table.
